In Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning, you will learn how to install Plumbing and HVAC systems for community-based non-profits, and train on a variety of modern equipment used in the industry today. Skills like piping, supports and hangers, venting, and all-weather systems open up the possibility that your knowledge might even be necessary to install and service equipment within the CTC. Other skills you will learn include:

  • Blueprint Reading
  • Drainage, Waste and Vent Systems
  • Water Distribution Systems
  • Plumbing Fixture and Equipment Installation
  • Basic Electricity for Pluming, Heating and Air Conditioning
  • Hydronic Heating Systems
  • Air Conditioning Equipment Installation
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (optional)
