The SkillsUSA District Competition will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at the CTC. The CTC will NOT be open on that day for students. This student day will be made up Wednesday, June 6, 2012.

Half day students recently attended a presentation on the benefits of completing a CTC program. There are many positives of returning to/completing a CTC program, such as: certificate of completion, NOCTI certificates, cooperative education opportunities, scholarship opportunities, industry certifications, one-to-one articulation agreement opportunities, and POS (SOAR-Student Occupationally and Academically Ready) State-Wide Articulation Agreements.

In an effort to go green as well as to save on cost, the CTC will no longer be printing paper copies of report cards. CTC report cards can be viewed on the CTC Parent Portal. CTC grades will also be printed on your child’s sending district’s report card. When viewing your child’s report card on the portal, report card comments are visible if you hover your mouse over the comment number.

Reminder, if you have not signed up for access to the CTC Parent Portal, you may do so by stopping in the CTC main office between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. or calling the CTC at 273-8551.
